Graham Potter said he is not focused on the possibility of becoming the first Chelsea English manager to go unbeaten in his first ten games in charge of the club.

Chelsea are unbeaten in all competitions since Potter took over the club. The Blues appointed Potter as their manager after parting ways with Thomas Tuchel following a 1–0 loss at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

Since then, Chelsea have played nine games in all competitions and have not been beaten. The Stamford Bridge team has six wins and three draws in those matches.

Since Potter became their manager, Chelsea have played five games and won three of them in the league. In the Champions League, they have made four appearances since Potter took charge of the club. They won three of those and shared points on one.

Told that he could be Chelsea’s first English manager to go unbeaten in the first 10 games, Potter insisted it is not something he is concentrating on.

“I just want to prepare the team and play well and try to win the game against Brighton, which will be tough enough. I don’t worry about any of that, I just focus on the game.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea head into the match against Brighton thanks to their victory over RB Salzburg in the Champions League. The Stamford Bridge side recorded a 2-1 victory over Salzburg, thanks to goals from Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz.
