Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus missed training on Wednesday ahead of the Gunners’ Europa League group stage match against Bodo/Glimt.
Jesus required on-pitch treatment during Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Liverpool in the Premier League after Kostas Tsimikas’s elbow hit the Brazilian in the face.
He was finally able to continue playing before Eddie Nketiah replaced him towards the end, in the 90+1 minute of the match.
Speaking after the match, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had downplayed fears of a serious head injury for the striker.

However, Jesus was absent from Arsenal training on Wednesday ahead of their next Europa League game. It is unclear at this time why Jesus missed Arsenal training.
But his absence from Arsenal training has raised concerns about his head injury. The Gunners have yet to offer an explanation as to why the forward missed training.
Meanwhile, Jesús signed for Arsenal in the summer transfer market. He left Manchester City to join the North London outfit.
Jesus is off to a stellar start to the 22/23 season and has been impressive for the Gunners.
He has made 11 appearances for the Gunners so far this season and has already racked up five goals and five assists. He scored all five goals and four of those assists in the Premier League, where he has made nine appearances.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have had a good start to the season. Arteta’s men sit top of the Premier League points table with 24 points from nine games.
Arsenal have eight wins and one loss from nine games. The game in which they lost by three points was against their bitter rivals, Manchester United. The Red Devils inflicted a 3-1 loss on the top table.
Arsenal are currently one point ahead of Manchester City, who sit second in the table. They also enjoy a four-point lead over third-place Tottenham Hotspur. The Gunners are also eight points ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea, but the Blues have a game to play.
Meanwhile, in the Europa League, Arsenal played two games and secured wins in both. They sit top of Group A with six points from two games.
Arsenal will be looking to clinch a comfortable win and pick up another three points when they take on Bodo/Glimt. The match between the two sides kicks off at 10:15 pm Indian Standard Time on October 13.
