From Italy: Man United’s offer of €30m plus Diogo Dalot for Denzel Dumfries turned down – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United’s offer of €30m + Diogo Dalot in exchange for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries won’t be enough.

This is according to Italian journalist Ciro Venerato, who claims that the inadequacy of the structure of United’s offer to Milan could mean that Dumfries stays at the San Siro for the rest of the season.

Dumfries was linked to United over the summer, but it never came to fruition.

With his impressive performances at the World Cup, especially against the USA where he starred, the links have only grown stronger, with Erik ten Hag keen on a capable substitute for Diogo Dalot.

Dumfries was questioned about rumors of a move to England, and in particular to Chelsea. He called these reports a great compliment.

SportWitness reports on Venerato’s stipulation, “He [Erik ten Hag] He is reportedly not impressed with Diogo Dalot or Aaron Wan Bissaka in the long run and would like to bring on Dumfries to play the role.

Venerato himself commented: “As for Dumfries, Inzaghi considers him fundamental in the Scudetto’s comeback project this season.”

The journalist added: “I don’t think United’s offer of 30 million plus Dalot can be accepted. I think the team will make evaluations in June, but if no important offers arrive, it will be confirmed for the rest of the season.”

Despite this indication from Italy, it is highly unlikely that Ten Hag would seek to dispose of Dalot.

Dalot is undoubtedly one of Ten Hag’s most important players, and the Dutch boss himself says he intends to look for someone to partner with the Portuguese or be a substitute.

Even with regard to Wan-Bissaka, the situation seems unlikely.

With United valuing Wan-Bissaka at more than €23m, an initial offer valued at €55m for Dumfries wouldn’t make much sense.
