Forged in fire: Most Five Improved Juventus Players in 2022 (Opinion) –

Unfortunately for Juventus, this year hardly brought any good memories for the club. With the exception of a late resurgence in which Max Allegri’s men beat the likes of Inter, Lazio and Torino, 2022 was a complete disaster.

But while a large number of players were shocked by the old lady’s overwhelming problems, others managed to develop their game amidst all the chaos that surrounded them.

So let’s take a look at the five Juventus players who have improved the most in 2022, taking into account only those currently in Allegri’s squad.

5. Manuel Locatelli

While there have been some bumps in the road, Manuel Locatelli recently shows a lot of improvement. He no longer looks bad in the role of Regista.

We can only hope for bigger things for the reliable midfielder.

4. Nicolo Fagioli

Fagioli is not the first midfielder on the list and he will not be the last, but his appearance symbolizes the resurrection of the club’s most troubled department in recent years, with young players taking over from disappointing acquisitions.

The 21-year-old sharpened his tools in Cremonese before returning to his base in Turin, ready for bigger challenges.

3.Gleison Bremer

Although his big rise came during his time at Torino, Bremer is still developing his game after switching allegiances and growing bigger with each new outing.

From anonymous center back to best defense in Serie A and international with Brazil in the short space of 12 months. This was a huge increase.

2. Fabio Miretti

A year ago, very few of us knew the name “Fabio Miretti”. He fast-forwards to the present, and the teenager is now an important member of the senior team and regularly starts matches for the club.

Now surely he still has a lot to learn, but if the player himself had not imagined the professional progress he had made during the course of the year.

1. Adrian Rabiot

While youngsters like Miretti and Fagioli should improve, Adrien Rabiot’s sudden rise at the age of 27 came out of nowhere, especially after three disappointing campaigns in Turin.

These days, the French midfielder is an indispensable player for both club and country, helping to create and score goals on a regular basis while helping his team assert dominance in midfield.

Unfortunately, this career renaissance came during what may be the player’s last campaign in Turin. But as long as he maintains his excellent form until the end of the season, his rise is still an enjoyable event.
