Liverpool suffered a crushing defeat at Nottingham Forest, but the scoreline could have been worse had it not been for Alisson Becker’s second-half save.
Ryan Yates went on goal thanks to a pass from Morgan Gibbs-White and the 24-year-old had a decent goal attempt with his left foot, but it was stopped by our number 1.

Replays showed our goalkeeper managed to brace his left bicep into the effort and deflect it for a corner, before the cameras cut to the English midfielder saying exactly what he thought of the Brazilian’s reflexes: “Unbelievable!”
It was not a day to remember at the City Ground, but we can be thankful that the 31-year-old goalkeeper is in fine form at the moment.
