Fabrizio Romano reveals Jude Bellingham price tag

Jude Bellingham has established himself as one of Europe’s most promising midfielders since joining Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham City in the 2020 summer window.

He has made 107 appearances (in all competitions) for the Dortmund outfit so far, registering 18 goals and 20 assists. Bellingham helped BVB claim the DFL-Pokal in 2020-21.

The 19-year-old midfielder won the 2020-21 Bundesliga Rookie of the Season and was also included in the 2021-22 VDV Bundesliga Team of the Season. Bellingham finished second in the final standings for the Kopa Award in 2021.

The Stourbridge-born star is also a vital member of the England national team. He has represented his nation 16 times since he made his debut in 2020. Jude Bellingham is expected to play a pivotal role for the Three Lions during the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

In his column for CaughtOffside, Fabrizio Romano admits that Jude Bellingham’s value continues to rise. He said: “I think the precise fee will be clear after the World Cup, not now; but sure, more than 100 million euros. His value is going up and I think he is absolutely right: he is showing quality, leadership and talent, he is more than a midfielder”.

Bellingham have been in excellent form this season, registering two goals and an assist in 11 Bundesliga games. He has also scored four goals and assisted one more in four UEFA Champions League games.

Romano also revealed that several major European clubs are interested in signing him. He said: “Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Man United and of course Real Madrid really want it.” Jude Bellingham is expected to be surrounded by transfer rumors during the upcoming transfer window. It will be interesting to see which club he ends up joining.

Liverpool interested in Youssoufa Moukoko

According to Football Insider (h/t Transfer Tavern), Youssoufa Moukoko is another Borussia Dortmund player that Liverpool are interested in signing.

The young German is in the last year of his contract at Signal Iduna Park. He is reportedly reluctant to sign an extension and could walk away for free at the end of the current season. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also in the running to get his services.

The 17-year-old attacker has made 53 appearances (in all competitions) for the Dortmund outfit so far, scoring nine goals and assisting a further seven. Moukoko also drew attention with his displays for Germany’s youth teams. He has registered six goals in five appearances for the Nationalelf U21 team so far.
