Fabrizio Romano reveals Eintracht Frankfurt’s hardline stance on Man United target Kolo Muani – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have French striker Kolo Muani on their radar.

Reports yesterday from France indicated that the Red Devils have targeted Muani for a January transfer and are preparing an offer.

United are keen to avoid competition from Bayern Munich for Muani’s signature.

Muani himself would reportedly prefer to stay in Frankfurt, but should a move come through, he would prefer a move to the Allianz Arena rather than Old Trafford.

Muani’s reputation improved during the World Cup.

Mainly used as a substitute for Didier Deschamps, the 24-year-old scored in France’s semi-final against Morocco.

Their introduction to the final helped reinvigorate a lethargic France who staged a spirited comeback in their attempts to beat Argentina.

Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Frankfurt have no intention of parting ways with Muani this month.

Romano informs: “Even so, in January it is more than difficult for any club [to sign Muani].”

“Eintracht Frankfurt has no intention of selling the player, and his price is around 70 million euros.

“I think Kolo Muani along with Jonathan David is someone to watch over the summer.”

Speaking to the press before Bournemouth’s game tonight, Erik ten Hag reiterated his stance that the club need to bring in attacking reinforcements in January.

Ten Hag said that while he is happy with the current players at his disposal, the incoming volume of games and fixtures in different competitions requires new recruits as soon as possible.

The United coach once again warned that any signing must be in line with the club’s spirit and objectives for the future.
