Fabrizio Romano drops fresh update on LFC’s summer plans as scouts already activated

Liverpool reportedly only have Jude Bellingham in mind for the summer window ‘at the moment’, according to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, although they have scouted Ghanaian Mohammed Kudus.

The Merseysiders are also believed to be keeping an eye on Sofyan Amrabat and Enzo Fernandez ahead of the January transfer window.

“Liverpool sent their scouts to follow Kudus a few months ago. As for investments, we will see in the summer because right now Jude Bellingham is his only summer target,” the respected Italian reporter told Caught Offside in his latest Daily Briefing.

Further confirmation that Jurgen Klopp’s men have already sent scouts to get a better picture of the World Cup star is encouraging news, particularly given that the player would prefer a midfield role at a new club, according to David Ornstein.

It remains to be seen if Kudus will triumph over the aforementioned names as a complement to Bellingham in January or come summer.

The club is expected to bring in a new option in the middle of the park to help ease pressures amid injuries and concerns about the aging collective.

The ability to play both striker and midfielder could swing the tables in the 22-year-old’s favor in light of Bobby Firmino’s contract expiring, depending on whether or not new terms can be agreed for the Anfield hero.

Many do, but and maybe, and only time will tell which one could play an integral role in a potential deal.
