The FA has ruled that there is “no case to answer” regarding an incident between Jordan Henderson and Gabriel on the pitch on October 9.
This comes courtesy of a tweet from Echo’s Paul Gorst following a heated moment between the pair during a 3-2 loss at the Emirates.
The FA has confirmed that it will take no further action on the incident involving Jordan Henderson and Gabriel at Arsenal.
“While the FA is fully satisfied that the allegation was made in good faith, it is also satisfied that there is no case to answer.”

Unsubstantiated accusations had been made on Twitter and in the press suggesting the England international may have racially abused the Gunners’ centre-half.

The idea that our No. 14, an ambassador against racism and online abuse, could have been responsible for something so unforgivable was laughable, although we can fully understand the governing body taking such an issue as seriously as it has. .
As Henderson would not hesitate to reinforce personally, there is no place for any kind of hate (whatever it is that motivates it) in football, sports and everyday life in general.
Hopefully the relentless abuse English has received from online trolls will stop and we can once again focus on the work he’s doing off the pitch to change the landscape of the game and society.
