The FA said in a statement: “The managers of Liverpool FC and Newcastle United FC have been disciplined, fined and warned for breaching the FA’s E3 rule during their Premier League match on Wednesday 31 August 2022.”

It further added: “An independent Regulatory Commission has fined the managers of Liverpool FC and Newcastle United FC £7,000 and £6,000 respectively, banned them from the touchline during a match and warned them of their future conduct.”

Liverpool coaching staff along with Kuirgen Klopp were frustrated by the time-wasting tactics, Newcastle hinted. So when Liverpool scored in the 98th minute despite the fourth official showing only five minutes of extra time, it filled them with joy. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s backroom staff were left frustrated.
