Everton are reportedly interested in signing Anthony Elanga this month.
According to GiveMeSport’s Simon Phillips, Everton have made an inquiry for the winger and are in talks with the player’s agent regarding a potential loan move for the remainder of the season.
Phillips told GiveMeSport: “Everton are knocking on the door to ask questions. They are in the early stages.
“They’re talking to their agent about a loan move, I think, right now. That is the proposal that they want to put together”.
The 20-year-old winger has been a Manchester United squad player this season and has started just five Premier League games. Elanga needs to play more regularly to continue his development and fulfill his tremendous potential.
A January loan move could be ideal for the player, and Everton could provide him with the opportunities he needs at the moment.
Meanwhile, Everton have had a dismal campaign so far and Frank Lampard needs reinforcements to refresh his team.
The 20-year-old winger could be an exciting addition, adding more quality and depth to the attack. Furthermore, he will be eager to prove himself worthy of regular playing time, and his determination to succeed could go a long way to the Toffees’ benefit.
