News: Berlin-based Cuban Osleys Iglesias (6-0) faces Uzbek Azizbek Abdugofurov (14-1) on September 24 in Lodz, Poland, in what is billed as an IBO playoff. The winner will become the mandatory challenger to champion Lerrone Richards (16-0).

French Y12 Boxing won the bids today for the defense of WBA Super Cruiserweight Champion Arsen Goulamirian (26-0) against Russian Aleksei Egorov (11-0).

Y12 offered $364,000, reports that L’Equipe will split 75-25 in favor of the champion, and plans to stage the fight on November 19 in Paris or Cannet.

Egorov became a mandatory challenger when regular champion Ryad Merhy relinquished the title and moved up to bridgeweight.
