Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reacted to how quickly the club’s summer signings have been integrated into the squad.

The Red Devils made six signings in the summer transfer market. They reinforced their defensive department with the addition of Lisandro Martínez and Tyrell Malacia. Man Utd have also added Christian Eriksen and Casemiro to their midfield department. They also hired Antony to strengthen their attacking department and signed goalkeeper Martin Dubrakva on loan from Newcastle United.

Summer signings have been largely impressive for the Red Devils so far this season. Martine has appeared in every game Man Utd have played so far this season, while Malacia has made 12 appearances in all competitions.

Eriksen has missed just one game since joining the Red Devils, while Casemiro, after a slow start, has become an integral part of Manchester United’s midfield. Antony has also been largely impressive, with the Brazilian scoring three goals so far.

Among their summer signings, Martinez and Casemiro have already won Man Utd Player of the Month awards. Martinez was Man Utd’s Player of the Month for August, while Casemiro won the award for his performances in October.

Speaking to the official Man Utd website, Ten Hag said the summer signings have the rest of the squad to thank for their quick integration into the squad.

“I think the signings thank the squad. [They are] the right players with the right players who were already there and together they are building a team and the team spirit is good, it is high,” said Ten Hag.

“So too [we need] to keep that going, keep building that, keep building that, and bring even more passion and desire because we want to win something.”
