Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has declined to comment once again on Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from the Old Trafford outfit.
Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo parted ways in November this year, and the Red Devils terminated the Portuguese superstar’s contract by mutual consent. The decision came after Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Cristiano Ronaldo criticized Manchester United, the Glazer family, the club’s owners, and Erik ten Hag, among many others, in the bombshell interview with Piers Morgan. Manchester United then decided to end the 37-year-old’s second spell at the club, terminating his contract by mutual consent.
Manchester United faced Burnley in the EFL Cup round of 16 in their first competitive match since the winter break and Cristiano Ronaldo’s much talked about departure from the club. The Red Devils emerged victorious, inflicting a 2-0 defeat on Burnley.
Speaking after the match, Erik ten Hag was asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Manchester United. The Manchester United coach refused to comment on it once again and insisted that he had already ruled on the issue and that the club had ruled and that they are now looking to the future.

Meanwhile, it was Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford who scored the goals as Man Utd beat Burnley in their first official match after the winter break.
Christian Eriksen opened the scoring against Burnley, scoring from close range after receiving an excellent cross from Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was making his first start of the season.
Marcus Rashford then made it 2-0 for Manchester United in the second half with a sensational solo goal. The Red Devils then finished the game to advance to the next stage of the competition.
For his part, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently a free agent without a club after his departure from Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar has been linked with several clubs, including Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr. However, he has not yet signed a contract with any other club.
