United were sloppy and lethargic in the first half and that was rightly pointed out by the manager in his post-match interview.

He was asked about his decision to bench Marcus Rashford.
Later, the 25-year-old scored the game-winner in the second half.

He also praised Luke Shaw:
“It was important to have speed on the right flank, with Luke Shaw you have that.”
Shaw and Malacia worked hard down the wings to stop the dangerous Adama Traore.
Overall it was an efficient Red Devils display and something to build on.
Ten Hag will know that there are many areas where the team can improve, especially in attack.
“We have a good team and Alejandro [Garnacho] enters. He did very well in the last two games and made great progress. I hope he contributes and brings his skills.”
At the moment, it is the three points that will make him happiest.
