Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insists he is not worried about his side’s problems scoring against Cypriot minnows Omonia Nicosia tonight in the Europa League.
The Red Devils had plenty of chances but didn’t take them, with the home team having to wait for an injury-time goal from Scott McTominay to give them a 1-0 win.
Man Utd fans will be relieved that their side battled to the end and took all three points, but one imagines they’ll also be a little bemused that they couldn’t take their chances and win more convincingly against this caliber of opposition. .
However, Ten Hag didn’t seem too concerned when he brought up the matter in his post-match interview…
“We have to score goals!”
Erik ten Hag happy with the victory of his team in Europe, but I would have liked to see them make more of their opportunities… ??
