EPL commentators on NBC: Feb. 3 to 5

After a couple of weeks of cup action, the Premier League returns as the calendar enters February. This weekend doesn’t have a full list of games that necessarily jump off the screen.

However, when that happens, there tends to be more drama than expected. Hopefully that’s the case this weekend. Also, most of these games are replays of games from earlier this month. Just how the season unfolded.

Let’s start with the end of the weekend. The last game in the upcoming Premier League game list is the best when it comes to ranking in the table. Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester City. Antonio Conte will not be sidelined as he recovers from gallbladder surgery. The game between these two early in the campaign was quite entertaining. City overturned a two goal deficit at half time to win, 4–2.

The first game of the weekend is also interesting. Fulham host Chelsea in a London derby. The second leg of this match at Craven Cottage saw Joao Félix get a red card on his debut. Fulham won, but this is a brand new Chelsea.

In the relegation battle, Nottingham Forest against Leeds United is a particularly interesting game. Also, it could be Weston McKennie’s debut on what is now truly an American team with three players and an American coach.

NBC coverage

Rebecca Lowe is back in the studio after the success in Orlando with NBC’s Fan Fest. She is joined by Robbie Earle and Danny Higginbotham. For Friday’s interim coverage, Cara Banks fills in for Rebecca Lowe.

GOAL RUSH is in action for the 10 am game schedule, when there are five kickoffs going on at the same time. Stream the interactive show on Peacock as it focuses on one game with jumping to others.

Plus, there’s 4K gaming this weekend. Those are Everton-Arsenal and the Spurs-City duel. Be sure to see if you have the subscriptions and hardware to watch at a higher resolution.
