Enzo makes Chelsea debut on Friday night – Talk Chelsea

Obviously, before we get into this, it will all depend on whether his paperwork is done on time as to whether Enzo Fernandez makes his Chelsea debut tomorrow night against Fulham. But personally I don’t foresee any problems with that.

We had a short break, and it really has been ideal as the end of the transfer window has come to a close. It’s been a good time for Graham Potter to round up his new players and start the gel process in training and pass on instructions from him.

I’m a bit more optimistic as we enter the second half of the season, simply because our starting lineup has almost completely transformed from the first half of the season. With Enzo Fernández arriving along with the bright new attacking talents, I have a slight belief that we can still make it to the Champions League places this season, but it will have to be a big effort.

This push starts on Friday against Fulham. Because if we’re not winning games like this, then we might as well drop the UCL push right now.

The irony, of course, is that Fulham are three places ahead of us in the league. But a Chelsea win tomorrow will see them edge past Fulham by one point.

Chelsea only played Fulham two games ago, losing 2-1. It was Joao Félix’s debut and he was sent off. Up until that point, I felt like we were winning that game pretty comfortably.

Still, there are no easy games in this league and tomorrow night it will be difficult, but I am sure to win. Since beating us, Fulham have lost their last two league games and Chelsea have improved their form and performed better. The pendulum swings in our direction and we have a 60% chance of winning.

The big questions will be who the heck starts this game? We have some players coming back from injuries and of course some new faces. It will be very interesting to see what Graham Potter does.

Potter has confirmed that he still has some injured players in his squad, such as Mateo Kovacic and Denis Zakaria, but will have Ben Chilwell, Reece James and Raheem Sterling back in the squad. But I don’t think any of them start the match.

I think we could see something like this:

Although we are still short of players, I am confident that this team will have enough to beat Fulham. And I really think we have no choice but to give Enzo his Chelsea debut from tomorrow night, and I’m looking forward to it!
