Elkann insists on bringing Marotta back to Juventus

John Elkann is spearheading Juventus’ search for new leadership after its former president and board of directors resigned a few weeks ago.

The Bianconeri have been in legal trouble for weeks and the resignations mean they must name new leaders for next month.

Several names have been proposed to be part of the new leadership group. However, one man many fans would love to see is Inter Milan manager Beppe Marotta.

He was at Juve until 2018 and helped them start their Serie A dominance, before helping Inter end it after nine consecutive seasons.

He has a contract at Inter until 2025, but a report on Tuttujove reveals that he is the man Elkann wants to lead the new Juve and is working to approach the soccer executive.

Juve FC says

Marotta proved his worth when he was manager of Juve, making him one of the best men for the job as we search for new leaders.

However, it will be difficult to get him away from Inter before his contract expires because they know how valuable he is to their resurgence in recent campaigns.

We could wait for him and make him director when his contract with Inter expires, but it will be difficult to convince him to join us now.
