Eddie Hearn’s boxing predictions likened to jockey hemorrhoids

Eddie Hearn’s predictions of boxing’s greatest events were likened to a dose of hemorrhoids from rival promoter Frank Warren.

The Matchroom boss discussed the future of Tyson Fury after Oleksandr Usyk defeated his star boxer Anthony Joshua twice.

Hearn told The DAZN Boxing Show: “Tyson Fury doesn’t want to fight Oleksandr Usyk. But he may have to do it because the money may be very big.

“It’s actually not a very good fight to watch. But it’s an intriguing fight to watch because I think they’re going to cancel out a lot with the move.

“I don’t think Fury is looking forward to fighting Usyk. I think he could beat him, but he would prefer Oleksandr Usyk in that fight.

“Just because I think it’s so good. Fury is also good, but Usyk is, they are both very smart fighters.”

Warren expressed his views in his column for The Daily Star. Warren stated, “He said Deontay Wilder would beat Tyson three times.

“He said we wouldn’t sell tickets in America, but he broke the record for a heavyweight fight in Las Vegas.

“He said Dillian Whyte would beat Tyson and we wouldn’t do any business on that fight. However, he broke the Wembley box office record and our man won by knockout.

“He said that Anthony Joshua would knock Usyk out twice. He even said that Canelo Alvarez would beat Dmitry Bivol.

“His boxing predictions are as good as hemorrhoids for Frankie Dettori. [famous jockey].”

Warren and Hearn continue to be estranged due to a lack of tolerance for each other. For the last Fury vs Joshua conversations, Hearn has to go through Warren’s son to convey the communication side of him.

The pair have a clear dislike for each other that runs deep. However, if they do get Fury vs. Joshua over the line, they’ll need to be in the same room at least once or twice when the promotional festivities for the fight begin.
