Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol
Before the fight between Beterbiev and Smith, Eddie Hearn spoke with boxing newswhere he spoke about the negotiations between Beterbiev and Bivol: “When we made the deal in Saudi Arabia with His Excellency, the plan was for Dmitry Bivol to fight for the undisputed fight. A fight they like is Beterbiev against Bivol.And he added: “From our point of view, Bivol has already signed to fight Artur Beterbiev.“
Immediately after the fight, the Montreal resident confirmed that he wanted the fight with Bivol, and Bob Arum said that the fight would happen approximately three months after Ramadanwhich means that mid-July is the earliest we’ll be able to see this monster fight.

In his interview with Boxing Social, Hearn talked about Beterbiev vs. Bivol: “I think Dmitry beats him, but it’s a real 50/50 fight.“
He continued: “Buffalo‘Beterbiev’s movement is outstanding and I think it will take a lot for Beterbiev, but you have to have the power to hurt him. (Beterbiev), and if you don’t, your movement has to be very good and precise.“
Hearn also said: “Beterbiev’s power is monstrous.After the comment about his power, he mentioned that Callum Smith spent too much time on the ropes and went on to say: “Bivol won’t be there. His feet are very, very good.“
“It’s a brilliant fight, one of the best fights in boxing, and I hope we can pull it off.“
