Do you prefer a final two or a final-four Super Cup?

The Italian Super Cup has been contested by the winners of Serie A and the Coppa Italia in recent seasons, but would you like a change in format?

Inter Milan and AC Milan will meet in the next edition of the competition in Saudi Arabia next year, and it promises to be one of the best matches of that day.

However, that could be the last edition in which only two teams compete against each other, and now a proposal to expand it is being considered.

A report on Calciomercato reveals that Serie A has an offer from the United Arab Emirates to expand the competition to a final four, with the four clubs competing in a semi-final first before the winners meet in the final.

The report reveals that the Serie A clubs have agreed to have their president Lorenzo Casini handle decision-making, which means they will support whatever decision they make.

Juve FC says

A four-team Super Cup will definitely be more exciting to watch, and the more clubs we have, the more competitive it will be.

However, because the competition is played in the middle of the season, too many games may have to be postponed to accommodate an expanded competition.
