Dillion Brooks and Donovan Mitchell ejected following 15-man brawl

Dillion Brooks and Donovan Mitchell were ejected from the Grizzlies-Cavs game on Thursday night after Brooks fired a low shot at Mitchell that sparked a 15-man brawl.

The fight started when Donnavan Mitchell went to retrieve a ball that was out of bounds and Dillion Brooks fired a low shot into the Cavs star’s more private area, which didn’t surprise Mitchell.

Mitchell reacted as expected, with the player jumping to his feet and confronting Brooks before foul play. A mass of bodies took to the field with a 15-man brawl that included players and coaches after the foul was committed.

Both Mitchell and Brooks were ejected for the remainder of the game for their actions, and the game ultimately ended 128-113 for the Cavaliers.

Although the Cavs were able to win without him, Mitchell was still furious after the game and called for the NBA to take action against Brooks for his actions.

Mitchell went on to talk about the personal battles he’s had with Brooks in the past and it became clear that there was no love lost between the two players.

“That’s how he is. We’ve seen a lot in this league with him. He and I have had our personal battles for years.

“There is no place for that in the game. This has been brewing for years with me and other guys in the league. You all see it. This is not new.
