Klopp on Núñez: “Of course he is still adapting. Just yesterday we had a long talk. It is important that we are completely calm. The team is not shooting and that does not make things easier for the strikers. It is very important in our situation that we do not worries”.

Having only played seven games for us in total this term, it would be completely strange to jump to conclusions about Nunez’s potential at L4.
The reality is that his suspension (a point Klopp rightly pointed out in his press conference) has barely helped his adjustment period at Liverpool after such a promising start.
It hardly helps that the man the 23-year-old is constantly being compared to, Erling Haaland, is scoring goals for fun with new employers Manchester City.
We have every faith that the former Peñarol star will consistently be good for us and rediscover his exciting early form.
