British heavyweight Derek Chisora claims he is now officially retired from the sport despite beating Kubrat Pulev last time out.
The former world title challenger announced his decision at the BT Sport box office on Saturday night when he attended Joe Joyce vs Joseph Parker.

Having lost three of his last four matches, Chisora told an interviewer that his career was over.
The BT Sport presenter seemed taken aback when Chisora gave short answers and seemed angry at being put on the spot.
Knowing Chisora’s mood swings is unlikely to be a true statement. “WAR” will certainly return to the ring soon.
Tyson Fury trade
Chisora claimed he was in Manchester for a bare-knuckle fight against Tyson Fury in a stunning exchange with the WBC heavyweight champion.
Chisora said: “I am in Manchester. I’m in Manchester, remember what you said?
Fury responded, “Derek, what’s going on? What did I say about Manchester?
Chisora told him: “You said to come to Manchester. I will fight you with fists. You were talking shit. I’m here.”
Fury then revealed that some deal between the pair was discussed and probably why “The Gypsy King” made it public that he wanted an unwarranted trilogy with Chisora.
“Why didn’t you sign the contract then? – Two million pounds.
Chisora said, “You didn’t send me a contract. Don’t text me saying come to my house and I’ll fight you bare-knuckle.”
Fury added: “I will fight you bare-knuckle. No problem. Anytime, anywhere, anywhere. You got two million and turned them down.
DC: “You didn’t send me anything.”
TF: “There was no need to send it. You turned down two million.

The pair then turned to a possible battle between Fury and Anthony Joshua on December 3 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
DC: “If the fight breaks out, he [AJ] victory.”
TF: “I’m going to win. I’ll knock him out in six rounds. If you want, I’ll fight you between rounds too. That’s how easy it is to work.”
DC: “Like how your partner [Parker] done here.”
TF: ‘My partner beat you, didn’t he? And I won you.
DC: “They knocked him out though.”
TF: “I knocked you out, so what does that say about you? He hit you and I hit you too.”
DC: “Do you want to fight? I will pay your salary.
Fury vs Chisora III was probably on the cards at some point until the UK public wrote the fight off out of hand. The reaction to the couple’s social media exchanges did not sit well with British fans.
Chisora was convincingly defeated both times by Fury. There is certainly no need for them to do it a third time.
But if you take Chisora’s brief interview with BT Sport as gospel, we’ll never see the man formerly known as “Del Boy” in the ring again.
