Dean Henderson makes Marcus Rashford training admission – Man United News And Transfer News

Dean Henderson has revealed the deadliest manager he has faced in Manchester United training.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Henderson lifted the lid on who is the hardest hitter he has ever come across.

The goalkeeper currently on loan at Nottingham Forest replied: “Either Harry Kane or Marcus Rashford.”

“Rashford can slap him, mate. Marcus will be eight meters away; he won’t care [that] you are on the way; he will just slap you.”

The 25-year-old added that Rashford’s shooting power is so powerful that he missed several times to get out of the way, even when he wanted to.

He commented that it hurt and itched especially during the winter.

“He just doesn’t care about goalkeepers; I will be honest! Sometimes it’s not a nice feeling.”

Rashford’s shooting power is something United fans have enjoyed on numerous occasions in the past. One can’t help but think that his striking ability will be especially useful now that Erik ten Hag will deploy him primarily as a striker.

The England international appears to have rediscovered his goalscoring form since the season began.

He has been one of Ten Hag’s biggest beneficiaries, scoring three goals and assisting as many in the Premier League.

Having missed out on the England squad with Gareth Southgate saying he still needs to do more, Rashford will no doubt feel he has a point to prove in a last-ditch effort to claim a World Cup place that is just weeks away. .

Based on the evidence of his performances so far, it looks like he will be on the plane to Qatar, even more so if he continues to play on his current trajectory.
