Danilo reaches an agreement to extend his Juventus stay

Danilo is arguably the most effective player at Juventus, adapting well even when asked to play in a new position.

The Brazilian’s fitness is also enviable, meaning he has played plenty of games for the black and white since moving to Turin.

The bianconeri recently named him vice-captain while Juan Cuadrado struggles and will now stay in Turin for at least two more seasons.

His contract was initially expected to expire in 2024, but a report via Football Italia reveals that he has reached an agreement with Juve to extend it for one more season.

This means that the defender will sign an agreement to keep him in Turin until at least 2025.

Juve FC says

If a Juventus player deserves a new contract, that man is Danilo because he has stood out from the rest this campaign.

The former Manchester City man gives Max Allegri the opportunity to try out new formations with confidence, knowing that he will deliver in whatever position he is asked to play.

Although he does not get any younger, Danilo is like a good wine that improves with age and we should enjoy it while it continues to give the performance we want.
