Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister aims dig at Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister took to Instagram to take a dig at Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo got off to an unusual start in Manchester United’s final Premier League match against Newcastle. It was, in fact, his first league start at Old Trafford so far this season.

The Portuguese international’s previous start came against Brentford in what was probably Manchester United’s worst performance of the season.

Against Newcastle, Ronaldo was substituted shortly after the break and his reaction showed his frustration at Ten Hag’s decision.

Ronaldo’s sister, Elma Aveiro, took to Instagram to take a jab at the Manchester United manager, which can be seen below.

The post contained a screenshot of a news item titled: “Erik ten Hag’s justification for replacing Cristiano Ronaldo.”

Aveiro published the article with a caption that, translated into English, reads: “It’s late.”

Aveiro eventually deleted the post, possibly after guidance from Ronaldo’s team.

Ronaldo’s sister taking aim at the digs at Manchester United is not likely to help their situation, which already appears to be very tense.
