Manchester United news: Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Ronaldo rejoined the Red Devils from Juventus during the 2021 summer transfer window. The Portuguese international enjoyed a decent debut season at Old Trafford and finished as the Red Devils’ top scorer after scoring 18 goals in 30 appearances.
He revealed his desire to leave the club in the summer due to the Manchester team’s failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. However, he was unable to secure an exit, as no club was willing to meet his heavy salary demands.
Erik ten Hag has used him as a part-time player this season. The 37-year-old attacker has only started one league game this season.

According to Times, Cristiano Ronaldo has set his departure date from Manchester United.
The Portuguese international will redouble efforts to leave Old Trafford after the FIFA World Cup. He has identified the January window as a route out of Manchester United.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were among the clubs showing interest in signing the veteran attacker. But they decided not to sign him.
The general director of the Munich team, Oliver Kahn, explains why the Bavarians did not approach him to sign him. Speaking to the media, he said: “We talked briefly about Cristiano at Bayern and probably also at Dortmund. We also see the big picture in the Bundesliga and of course a big factor in drawing attention to the league is superstars like him. He is one of the greatest of the last decade, but we quickly wrote him off.”
Barcelona make Diogo Dalot a top priority for 2023
According to Sport, Barcelona have identified Diogo Dalot from Manchester United as their main target to sign in 2023.
The Blaugrana are looking to strengthen their right-back position after the departure of Dani Alves last summer. They signed Héctor Bellerin on loan from Arsenal in the summer, but he failed to impress.
Dalot has enjoyed an excellent season at Old Trafford. He has made seven Premier League appearances this season, assisting one goal.

According to the aforementioned report, Barcelona is already beginning to explore the possibility of signing him next summer. Dalot is currently in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford. But the Red Devils have the option to extend his contract for another year.
