Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford completed a double whammy and won the club’s December Player of the Month award, as well as Goal of the Month.
Rashford won Goal of the Month for his brilliant strike in the Carabao Cup against Burnley.
The Englishman embarked on a superb solo run from the halfway line after Scott McTominay pinched the ball off a Burnley player.
Rashford then broke through two defenders and fired a low shot into the bottom left corner of the goal.
The goal helped United move past the Clarets and advance to the quarter-final of the competition, where they will face League One side Charlton Athletic.

The 25-year-old also picked up the Player of the Month award for his three goals in as many games for the Red Devils in December.
As well as Burnley, Rashford also netted against Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers, where his goal secured all three points for his team in a difficult outing at Molineux.
The winger also started the new year well, scoring a goal against Bournemouth as United ran riot at Old Trafford.
So it’s fitting that fans voted him United’s best player in December. He got 64% of the vote.
