Now it has become boring to say that this is a match to be won, that was said against Maccabi Haifa and AC Milan and has been repeated non-stop this week against Torino. It’s boring because nothing seems to change when Juve suffer a bad defeat.
That said, a win now is vital, even if it’s just to rebuild confidence and morale because right now, this team is as demoralized as any it’s been in many years before.
If Juve were to lose tonight, there will be even more questions about Allegri’s future, but disillusionment has set in among the fanbase and nothing the club does now will come as a big surprise or ease the sadness.
But a win would at least be a building block that could keep the guys going for the rest of the season. Let’s hope so anyway.
