Cinkara and Sands will fight for the WBA-International cruiserweight title this Saturday  – World Boxing Association

The vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) international cruiserweight title will be on the line this Saturday when undefeated German Huseyin Cinkara takes on American Al Sands at the Friedrich-Everton-Halle indoor arena in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

It will be a high caliber fight between two experienced fighters in contention for the important regional title.

Cinkara has a responsibility to live up to the hype at home and he wants to show his power. The 37-year-old veteran comes in with four straight knockouts and motivation running high for him to get the win.

Sands is a Haitian national, but is a US citizen. The 35-year-old boxer has two consecutive victories, however he lost the two fights he fought outside the USA in 2017 and 2018, a situation that he intends to reverse this time.

Cinkara has 18 wins, 15 by knockout. Sands, on the other hand, has 22 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw, and 19 wins before the cap.
