Chelsea will lose out on more transfer targets – Talk Chelsea

It looks like Chelsea will lose to Real Madrid in the battle to sign Brazilian sensation Endrick from Palmeiras and unfortunately he won’t be the only big transfer target Chelsea will miss out on.

The reality is that Chelsea haven’t been seriously challenging for the Premier League title for five years and, to me, that means we’re not the powerhouse club some still think we are, at least not right now anyway. Winning the Champions League and picking up the odd honors along the way in recent seasons has simply papered over the cracks.

Chelsea are currently eighth in the Premier League at mid-season, and people are complaining that we are losing targets to clubs like Real Madrid. We are nowhere near these clubs right now and we just don’t have their drawing power. And we haven’t really even had that for many years.

Players like Erling Haaland were always going to choose Manchester City over us. City are probably the best team at the club and have been for some time.

Jude Bellingham will also probably choose another club over Chelsea, because these players want to compete for the biggest and best trophies right away.

Chelsea at the moment, even facing a huge uphill battle to get Champions League football for next season, and people expect us to keep winning runs to sign some of the best players in world football! Take a reality check.

Chelsea is nowhere near that right now. Our new owners have the ambition, knowledge and aspirations to get us back to the top, and that is the direction we are headed. But it will take time.

It will take time to fix past mistakes at this club, terrible transfer decisions, a network of amateur scouts and a culture of wanting everything right now and not building for the future. That’s what our new owners are doing, and the Chelsea powerhouse WILL BE BACK. But we’re not there now/yet, and haven’t been for some time.

I’m not saying we can forget about all of our transfer targets, because if we’re in the running and ready to match offers and put lucrative terms on the table, as we are, then there’s always a chance that we could get some. of our goals. But if anyone is surprised that Endrick has chosen Real Madrid over Chelsea, for example, then I think he should take a closer look at the current situation.

Some players will buy our project, and we are doing our best to sell it to them. A lot of players will see what we’re building here and still want to be a part of it, I’m sure of that. But we must also be prepared to ‘take some L’s’ along the way. It won’t be like this forever. We need patience, but unfortunately, I’m afraid many of our fans just won’t have that.
