Chelsea on the verge of signing David Datro Fofana

Chelsea is close to finalizing the signing of the Molde attacker David Datro Fofana. The 19-year-old attacker is currently among the most promising attackers in Europe.

Fofana has been a star for Molde since joining from AFAD in the 2021 summer transfer window. He has made 65 appearances (in all competitions) for the Norwegian club so far, registering 24 goals and 10 assists. Fofana helped Molde win the Eliteserien in 2022 and the Norwegian Cup last term.

The 19-year-old attacker is also a full international for Ivory Coast. He has represented his country twice since he debuted in 2019.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are about to sign FK Molde striker David Datro Fofana.

The Blues have reached an agreement with the Norwegian club to sign the Ivory Coast international for €10m during the January window. Personal terms are still being discussed with the player.

Many of the best European clubs have shown interest in signing Fofana in recent months. However, the Blues moved quickly to secure his services.

Chelsea attacker Graham Potter is looking to add a new attacker to his squad. The Blues have struggled offensively so far this season, managing to score just 17 goals in 14 Premier League games. Armando Broja also suffered an ACL injury earlier this month, adding to Potter’s problems.
