Chelsea is open to selling long-term Juventus target – Koulibaly

Chelsea are set to sell Kalidou Koulibaly just one season after the defender moved from Napoli to the London club.

The defender was on Juventus’s radar when they were in Serie A, and the Bianconeri have continued to be linked with a play for him.

It hasn’t had the desired effect on his team, and now it looks like he could leave them after just six months in the Premier League.

A report on Calciomercato reveals that the Blues have not been impressed by his performance so far and are now looking to capitalize on him.

This has opened the door for him to return to Serie A, where Juve could jump in and add him to their squad.

Juve FC says

Koulibaly was one of the best defenders in Europe when he played for Napoli, and Juve will feel they can still make an impact if he returns.

However, he is already over 30 years old and he does not have many seasons left on his legs, which makes him older than the players that Juve have been signing lately.

Signing him would be thinking short term, but we must focus on buying players who offer us a lot of value now and in the long term.

That requires us to focus on players much younger than the Senegalese star.
