Chelsea eye out-of-favour Man United star in major transfer U-turn under new manager

Chelsea are reportedly set to revive their transfer interest in Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo under new manager Graham Potter.

The Blues could use more firepower up front, and it seems they are still keen to sign Ronaldo after Thomas Tuchel initially turned the player down, according to All Transfers.

Ronaldo will be 38 at the start of next year, but he still scored 24 goals in all competitions last season for a struggling Man Utd team, so he’s surely not finished at the top level yet.

All Transfers adds that United manager Erik ten Hag does not have Ronaldo in his plans, so the availability of the veteran Portuguese international surely makes him a tempting option for Chelsea owners.

January is still a bit off, but it looks like Chelsea’s links with Ronaldo will be worth keeping an eye on until then.
