“Chelsea are building the most exciting project in world football and I am very proud to join the club. There is a lot of potential for the club to continue to succeed, develop and grow,” said Christopher Vivell.

“Under the new ownership, Graham Potter and the sports team in general, there is a clear and sustainable philosophy underpinned by performance analysis, data and innovation, and I am looking forward to participating in that.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea will face Bournemouth in their first Premier League since the winter break. The Blues are winless in their last five Premier League games. Graham Potter’s men have suffered three defeats and shared points in two matches in their previous five meetings in the English top flight.

Chelsea will try to get back to winning ways when they face Bournemouth in the Premier League on December 27.

Meanwhile, the west London outfit currently languishes in eighth place in the Premier League points table. Chelsea have 21 points from 14 Premier League games so far in the 22/23 season and are 16 points behind table leaders Arsenal.
