Manchester United cruised to a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest as the Red Devils returned to Premier League action for the first time since the World Cup resumed.

United got their goals through Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and there was a late goal from Fred, coming off the bench.

The Brazilian stood out above everyone else on the pitch, once again showing United fans what they have been missing over the years.

Casemiro played 90 minutes and had 104 touches of the ball in what was a complete performance on his part.

He had an impressive 85% accuracy in his role as the deepest midfielder. Of the 74 successful passes from him, three were key passes.

The 30-year-old showcased his technical ability and versatility, successfully hitting seven long balls to his teammates.

Casemiro created a great chance and also registered a shot on goal to his name.

The midfielder won 100% of his duels. As for his duels on the ground, Casemiro won most of the challenges he entered, six of the ten in which he participated.

Casemiro made three clearances, blocked a shot, made two interceptions and five terrific tackles.

He capped off a brilliant performance with an excellent assist for Fred’s goal and United’s third of the game.
