Casemiro Hits Out at Fans Who Celebrated Neymar’s Injury at FIFA World Cup

Casemiro: Brazil national soccer team midfielder Casemiro has criticized fans who celebrated his teammate Neymar’s injury at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil got off to a winning start to their FIFA World Cup campaign when they overcame Serbia with a 2-0 victory. However, the South American heavyweights suffered an injury when Neymar limped off the pitch in the 80th minute of the match. Following Neymar’s injury, the Brazilian superstar was replaced by Antony.

Since then, it has been reported that Neymar will miss the rest of Brazil’s group stage matches at the FIFA World Cup. Due to injury, he missed Brazil’s 1-0 win over Switzerland. That victory sealed Brazil’s qualification for the round of 16.

Neymar’s injury is also expected to rule him out of Brazil’s final group game at the 2022 World Cup. Brazil faces Cameroon in their next match and will likely be without Neymar.
