Man City and Liverpool have played an entertaining half of football as the two teams return to action in the Carabao Cup after the World Cup break.
Erling Haaland put the hosts ahead on 10 minutes before Fabio Carvalho equalized for the Reds 10 minutes later.
Man City were the better side for the first 45 minutes and had multiple opportunities to get back in front, one of which involved a sensational cross from Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgium international sent a beautiful cross to Nathan Ake and left Jamie Carragher in awe.
“What cross is that. That’s world class,” said the Sky Sports commentator.
“I’m not even sure you can defend that.”
