It was a comfortable night for Manchester City in Seville with the Premier League team defeating Sevilla 4-0 in their first Champions League game.
City are looking to add a first European title to their cabinet this season and are hoping Erling Haaland will be the key to achieving that dream. It was the Norwegian who gave them the lead in the first half before the Manchester club went on a rampage in the second.
Foden added the second with a beautiful finish before Haaland secured his brace to make it 3-0 for Pep Guardiola’s men.
In added time, Ruben Dias added City’s fourth and final goal. The Portuguese star was pointed out by his compatriot, Joao Cancelo, before putting the ball in the Sevilla goal.
