Bruno Fernandes interview after dramatic Chelsea draw – Man United News And Transfer News

Bruno Fernandes gave a post-match interview to Sky Sports following Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

Bruno was pleased with the team’s performance in the first half, but pointed out the importance of the tactical battle between the managers to lessen United’s control.

“I think the first half was really good from our side, obviously after they had the tactical change we had some problems in the middle.

In that first half, Fernandes believes the team “could have been up 2-0.”

United came close to spoiling missed opportunities in the first interval when Jorginho converted a penalty. But Fernandes credits the spirit of his teammates for earning a point.

“Obviously they got the penalty goal, but the belief was there, we kept fighting and the spirit was incredible.”

In the penalty, although he claims not to have seen the incident, he noted that:

“In the Premier League, this contact happens in every game”

Casemiro’s equalizer got the traveling crowd excited, and Bruno has praise for both the center and the striker.

“It was a great cross from Luke and then a great header.

“We know that Casemiro scored a lot of headers at Madrid.

“He had a chance against Everton and he missed. This time he got it right!”

When asked about Ronaldo’s situation, Fernandes was firm:

“We don’t talk about that.” United Matchday Magazine – The Ultimate Match Experience Take your seat for the Chelsea match and stay on top of all things United!
