WBO 10 Round Cruiserweight World Championship

Glanton wins by TKO 1:09 of Round 2

Brandon “Bulletproof” Glanton, 199.6 lbs., Atlanta, GA, 16-0 13 KOs; Mario “El Ruso” Aguilar, 199.8 lbs., Sinaloa, Mexico, 22-7 with 18 KO’s

Glanton: “It came out like I thought it would. He came out punching. But I don’t know why he decided to make it a battle of attrition because that’s my game. He can hit. However, he could see it coming from a mile away. (The body shot) He gave it to me. We talked about 53 the whole camp. We talk about it all day. Body head. But he didn’t expect him to come so easily. I thought I was going to knock him out cold because he kept hitting me on the chin, but I went to the body and it was over. Liver shot. No, I didn’t see him hit the referee, but I noticed that he got off me for a moment and didn’t know what was going on”.

8 rounds super middleweight

Vansiclen W UD 78-74 78-75, 78-75

Hakim Lopez, 171.6 lbs., Atlanta, GA, 13-0 8 KO’s vs. Richard Vansiclen, 171 lbs., Seattle, Washington, 12-0 6 KO’s

Vansiclen: “We studied him in camp, but he didn’t really fight like I thought he would fight. I think I was fighting back when I thought I was going to hurry. Then he touched my left hand and I have one of the best left hands in boxing. That may sound crazy, but I really believe in myself. I think it was a great fight and the fans really enjoyed two undefeated guys and I got in here. So now I’m ready to take the next step. I saw that I was ranked 20th in the US and he was ranked number 4, so he should move up quite a bit now, he should be in the top 5. One of my coaches here was my college coach, in Washington, so I’m rocking. Purple and Gold. National champion in Washington and I made it to the Olympic trials and now I’m 13-0 as a pro and that’s unbelievable.”

Valle: “I love fighting in front of my people and this is the best place to do it, and to do it on ProBox TV. I listen to my coach, and he studies, and we do the work. We did it together. I stay ready for the next month or two and prepare for the nest fight and hopefully keep busy. Thanks for all the support, I’m working on my Spanish and we’ll make it.”
