Boost for Juventus as a key Freiburg man suffers an injury

Juventus have received a boost ahead of their Europa League game against Freiburg.

The Bianconeri take on the Germans on the second Thursday of next month in their bid for European glory after beating Nantes.

The Germans would now be concerned ahead of the game after their key man Ritsu Doan was injured in their recent game against Bayer Leverkusen, according to Tuttojuve.

He left the pitch in the 25th minute with what appears to be a serious injury and now they expect him to be fit enough to play the game against the bianconeri.

Juve FC says

Freiburg were most likely not reliant on one man to get to this stage of the competition, so we would be making a huge mistake thinking that the Germans would be weakened by losing just one player.

We have other commitments before that game, but we must be prepared to face a strong team when we do.

Even if more of their players are injured before the game, we can’t underestimate them based on just a few absences because that will be absolutely dangerous.

However, the match against Torino should be our focus for now.
