Daniele Rugani has enjoyed a run of games at Juventus in recent weeks, meaning he is unlikely to leave the Bianconeri in this transfer window.
The Azzurri defender had struggled for relevance in recent seasons and was even loaned out to Rennes and Cagliari, a clear sign that he is not good enough for Juve.
However, he remained in Turin and occasionally gets chances from Max Allegri, especially when Juve players above him in the pecking order are unavailable.
This has been the case in recent weeks and it now looks as if Rugani will stay in Turin for the rest of this season despite interest from Serie A clubs in taking him on loan.
A report on Calciomercato says that Juventus cannot consider an offer for him due to the delicate physical condition of Leonardo Bonucci.
Bonucci has been plagued by injuries this season and has hardly made many appearances for the club and for this reason Rugani has received many minutes.
Juve FC says
Rugani hasn’t been good enough in recent seasons, which is one of the reasons he hasn’t played as often.
Juve must replace him in the summer and not allow a mediocre player to occupy space in the squad for one more season.
