Bonucci escaped being hurt by a smoke bomb during celebrations for Moise Kean’s goal

Moise Kean scored the only goal of the game as Juventus beat Verona in Serie A yesterday.

The Bianconeri are now in a good moment of form, which has seen them win five league games in a row.

The resurgence of the striker coincides with the recovery of the team and he will hope that the goals do not run out.

After scoring against Verona, his elated team-mates celebrated with him, but disaster could have struck.

A report on Tuttomercatoweb reveals that a smoke bomb was thrown onto the pitch as the Bianconeri were celebrating the goal and exploded near Leonardo Bonucci.

The defender was lucky to escape and the report reveals that it could have been from Juventus fans.

Juve FC says

Fortunately, this smoke bomb did not hurt anyone, but we must eradicate these acts of fans.

It’s unclear how a fan was allowed to smuggle one into the ground, but it’s clearly a breach of security protocol.

Hopefully the surrounding authorities will do more to eradicate it.

That victory is important, but we must focus our attention on winning our next game against Lazio.

Ending the year with a victory over Maurizio Sarri’s men will be one of the best ways to end it.
