Bologna insists Juventus target will not leave in January

Juventus have expressed interest in Lewis Ferguson over the past few months, recognizing the Scottish midfielder’s good performances in Serie A. With the loss of Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli for the rest of the season, Ferguson has become a potential target for Juventus in the next transfer window.

While Ferguson has shown interest in playing for a top club like Juventus, he is currently a crucial player for Bologna. The Bianconeri are keen to secure his services in the new year, but according to Calciomercato, it will be a challenge for them to make the move in January.

The report suggests that Juventus face a tough test to convince Bologna to part ways with Ferguson mid-season. Bologna are reportedly determined to keep him until the end of the current season, meaning Juventus may have to wait until the summer to pursue the midfielder.

Juve FC says

Ferguson has been in very good form over the last few months and looks good enough to play in our team.

The Scot will also want the opportunity, but we must present an offer that is too big to refuse if we want him next month.
