Juventus have been dealt a blow after a report revealed that Dusan Vlahovic suffered an injury against Benfica.
The striker was substituted around the 70th minute as Juve were pressing to score goals and get back into the game.
They eventually lost him 4-3, but Vlahovic may have suffered a serious problem that could keep him out for a long time.
A report on Il Bianconero reveals that the former Fiorentina man was sore and signaled to the bench that he was uncomfortable before he was substituted.
Juve will now assess him for the extent of the injury, but the report states it appears to be an abduction problem.
Juve FC says
Vlahovic is one of our most important players and we cannot lose him now.
The striker has shared the team’s goals this season and continues to be one of the first names on the team’s record.
With him on the side we have had a bad start. It could get worse if we are forced to lose it for a few weeks on the sidelines.
Hopefully, when you undergo the necessary tests, there will be nothing to worry about.
However, the likes of Arkadiusz Milik and Moise Kean should be prepared to step in if we have to lose him for a few weeks.
