BKFC Debuts in Denver, Colorado on October 15

Philadelphia, PA (September 20, 2022) – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the fastest growing sports promotion in the world, debuts in Colorado on Saturday, October 15 at the 1STBank Center in Broomfield, CO with BKFC-31 headlined by a sensational clash between Mike ‘The Marine’ Richman, (3-0, 2 KOs), of Rosemount, MN and Isaac ‘The Honey Badger’ Doolittle, (3-0, 1 KOs), of Junction City, KS by the Interim BKFC Light Heavyweight Title.

Doors will open the night of the event at 6:00 pm BKFC-31 will be broadcast internationally as part of the BKFC+ subscription for $4.99 per month on the new BKFC app.

Ranked #2 in the middleweight division and moving up a weight division for this fight, Richman broke into BKFC on April 30, 2021, with a first-round knockout of Marcel Stamps in Birmingham, Alabama. He followed that up with two devastating second-round knockouts; Dakota Cochrane (BKFC-21) on September 10, 2021 and most recently Dave Rickels (BKFC-23) on April 8, 2022.

BKFC’s No. 3 Light Heavyweight Doolittle returns to the fray following a thrilling decision victory over top contender Jared Warren on April 6, 2022 at BKFC-23. He also has tremendous wins over Jay Jackson on October 21, 2021 (BKFC Fight Night Wichita) and Brandon Johnson (BKFC-13) on October 10, 2020.

Headlining the card in the welterweight division, Bellator veteran and local favorite Brandon Girtz will make his highly anticipated BKFC debut against Jake Lindsey,

(2-0, 2 KOs) from Manhattan, Kansas. Girtz compiled a 16-10 mixed martial arts record, while the heavy-handed Lindsey stopped Derrick Findley at BKFC-23 on April 8, 2022 and Eric Thompson on October 23, 2021 at BKFC Fight Night Wichita.

Fighting in the cruiserweight division, Chris Camozzi of Lakewood, CO, and Bubba ‘The Menace’ McDaniel of Muncie, IN will make their BKFC debuts. Fighting extensively in the UFC and PFL, Carmozzi had an MMA record of 27-15 while McDaniel’s MMA ledger is 30-10.

In the heavyweight division, Denver, CO native Josh ‘Cuddly Bear’ Copeland makes his BKFC debut against Brazilian Levi ‘Pitbull’ Costa (1-0, 1 KO). Copeland brings an MMA record of 18-7-1 to the ring, while Costa made his impressive BKFC debut with a first round knockout of Joshua Sanchez at BKFC-25 on May 6, 2022.

Competing in the welterweight division, Cory ‘Guns’ Madden of Denver, CO makes his first start in BKFC against Christian ‘The Terminator’ Torres, (1-2), of Johnson City, NY. Madden is 6-1 with five knockouts as a professional boxer.

The featherweights will make their BKFC-31 debut when Las Vegas, NV native Andrew ‘The Golden Boy’ Yates battles Nolan McGlaughlin of Pueblo, CO. Yates has an MMA record of 12-4 while McGlaughlin is 6-5-0 competing in mixed martial arts.

Fighting in the lightweight division, Danny ‘Country Strong’ O’Connor of Monroe City, MO, makes his BKFC debut, taking on Van ‘Tactic’ Vo, (0-1) of Kettering, OH.
