Several top European clubs have been linked to an Enzo Fernández move in the January transfer window, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Chelsea appear to be leading the race to sign Enzo Fernández, who joined Benfica just six months ago. The Portuguese team signed Fernández from Argentine River Plate in the summer transfer window.

Amid the interest that some European heavyweights have shown for Enzo Fernández, Benfica president Rui Costa has confirmed that they will let the Argentine go if his release clause is met.
